ProAcqua Group was founded in 2005 by the German company ProMinent Holding, which was established in 1960 in Heidelberg. Today, it operates 41 direct branches worldwide, with a workforce of 1,400 qualified technicians and 70 representative agencies.

The OMDE SERIES 8000 is the latest-generation water purifier that combines refined design and advanced technology.
Its crystal body and anodized aluminum selector ensure elegance and practicality. Equipped with double filtration—natural activated carbon and nanofiltration at 0.01 microns—it removes microplastics, viruses, and endotoxins. The innovative UV LED technology protects against back-contamination without heating the water.
Thanks to a high-pressure CO₂ jet, it can sanitize and chill glasses and bottles. Choose between room temperature, cool, cold, sparkling, strongly sparkling, warm or hot water for a unique experience.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we developed a new CONTACT-LESS technology to dispense water without pressing any buttons, thereby reducing the risk of contact-based transmission.
Introducing WATER FRONT, the first water dispenser designed for public areas (schools, universities, hotel lobbies, conference halls, etc.), offering high dispensing capacity through four taps operated by proximity sensors.

Introducing ProAcqua EVENT – the water distribution system specifically designed for public events such as concerts, marathons, local festivals, and village fairs.

It’s time to renew the vonTaine home water purifier—thanks to research conducted by ProMinet (majority shareholder of ProAcqua), the Prosit project is born.
In addition to reverse osmosis, Prosit integrates a microfiltration filter and an additional activated carbon filter.
At the end of the cycle, a 4-watt UV lamp is installed to prevent back-contamination.
2007
In 2007, ProAcqua CITY was born—the first “Casa dell’Acqua” installed in Milan by then-mayor Letizia Moratti.
Once again, ProAcqua pioneered a new market by recognizing early on the potential of local, zero-kilometre public water distribution.
The initial idea was to offer organoleptically excellent water by applying all available technologies (microfiltration, nanofiltration, ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis, ultraviolet lamps, etc.), ensuring high-quality water at a socially fair price.
2006
ProAcqua enters the hospitality market by launching the HRC series of microfiltered water dispensers.
The acronym HRC stands for Hotel, Restaurant, and Catering—a booming sector today, but back in 2006, it was a pioneering field.
Only a forward-looking vision made it possible for our HRC products to become, today, the most advanced dispensers for room temperature still water, chilled still water, and chilled sparkling water on the market.

Today, ProAcqua Group boasts hundreds of installations worldwide, and the smartest cities have relied on its experience and professionalism to promote new public services aimed at reducing waste and CO₂ emissions, while protecting the environment.
Our story began with a home water purifier using reverse osmosis technology.
Prof. Viktor Dulger (founder of ProMinent GmbH), his Italian partner Dr. Ivo Calabrò, and current CEO Dr. Cristiano Ferrari foresaw the importance of offering families a highly advanced water purifier that avoided the inconvenience of installation—a common obstacle to purchase.
This led to the creation of vonTaine, a name that, when read in German, sounds like “Fontäne” (fountain) and is enhanced by the noble prefix “von”.
